2. What we collect and why

• When you email us or book a consultation: your name, contact details, business information and anything you choose to tell us about your matter. We use this to respond to you, provide our services, and keep records of our engagements. Legal bases: taking steps to enter a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
• Booking data: consultations are scheduled through Calendly, which processes the details you enter under its own privacy policy.
• Technical data: our hosting provider (Netlify) may log IP addresses and basic request data for security and to deliver the site. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

3. Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own. Embedded third-party services (such as Calendly, if used via a link or embed) may set their own — see their policies for details.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as email, scheduling and hosting providers), professional advisers, and where required by law. Where a matter needs a regulated solicitor or barrister, we will only refer your details with your agreement.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for 12 months if you do not become a client. Client files are kept for 6 years after the end of an engagement, in line with limitation periods, then securely deleted.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict our processing, and ask for your data in a portable format. To exercise any right, email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
